1. Who we are

This site and the Calmer Home iOS app are operated by:

2. What we collect

Website server logs

When you open a page on calmerhome.app, your browser sends standard request data to our server. This is kept briefly for security and troubleshooting, and includes:

• IP address (anonymized after a short period)
• Timestamp of the request
• URL requested
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referrer URL

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in the secure and reliable operation of the site. These logs are not combined with any other data source and are deleted within 30 days.

Interactive tools on the website

The tools on calmerhome.app (Routine Card, Weekly Planner, Home Audit, Declutter Checklist) run entirely in your browser. Inputs such as an optional name or room selection stay in your browser and are encoded in the URL. Nothing is submitted to a server. No cookies are set.

Calmer Home iOS app

The Calmer Home iOS app stores your rooms, tasks, and progress locally on your device. We do not operate an account system. We do not collect analytics. We do not have servers that receive your personal activity.

The only network data we receive from the app is anonymous App Store purchase verification (handled by Apple), which confirms whether your device has unlocked the one-time premium purchase. This is processed by Apple under Apple's own privacy terms.

3. Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or any form of cross-site tracking. There is no cookie banner because no consent is needed.

4. Third parties we rely on

Cloudflare (hosting and CDN)

The website is served through Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses as part of its network infrastructure. Data transferred to the US is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR Art. 46. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Apple (in-app purchases)

In-app purchases in the Calmer Home iOS app are handled entirely by Apple through the StoreKit framework. We receive anonymous verification that a purchase is valid for your Apple ID — no personal data from your Apple account is visible to us.

Fonts

The website uses the "Inter" and "Instrument Serif" fonts, both self-hosted from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any third-party font service.

Pinterest share button

The website tools include a "Pin it" button. The button is a plain link that opens pinterest.com in a new tab when clicked. It does not load any Pinterest scripts or tracking code. Data is sent to Pinterest only if you actively click the button and then interact with pinterest.com.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any data we hold about you
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion — request that your data be erased, unless retention is legally required
• Restriction — request limits on how your data is processed
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Complaint — file a complaint with a data protection authority

6. Children's privacy

Calmer Home is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the site, the app, or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
